Overview

The Accountant is a key member of the Accounting and Bookkeeping department, responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Handle payroll processing and related tax filings.
  • Assist in tax preparation and compliance.
  • Collaborate with auditors during financial audits.
  • Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
