In compliance with the mandate of UAE Cabinet Resolution No. (58) of 2020, registered Companies (Subsidiary and Joint Ventures) and established Branches (for a non-DMCC Company) must provide relevant information of officers holding higher management position in the Parent Company, such as its Directors. To comply with this mandate, DMCC introduces a new service request for the declaration of Parent Company officers.

Parent Company Officers

All those officers holding higher management position in the Parent Company that has decision making authority over the DMCC Entity.

Only those officers with decision making power over the DMCC Entity are required to be declared.

Business Rules and Validations

This Declaration process is applicable and mandatory for registered Companies (Subsidiary and Joint Ventures) and established Branches (for a non-DMCC Company).

  • No active sanction of whatever kind shall prevent the SR from being submitted, as long as the registration status of the DMCC Entity is active.
  • Declaration of Parent Company Officers is limited to natural persons only and there is no limit as it is dependent on the structure of the Parent company. However, only those Officers with decision making authority over the DMCC Entity is required to be declared.
  • Information of registered Parent Company officer will be stored in the DMCC Officer Register but shall not be available for public view and no official extract shall be issued by DMCC containing such information.

Deadline for the Submission of the Parent Company Officers

To comply with the mandated requirement, please declare the Parent Company officers of your registered DMCC Entity on or before 31 March 2021.

Sanctions for the non-compliance

Kindly note, failure to comply could lead to Administrative Sanctions as stated in Article 17 of the Cabinet Resolution.
